Participants submit their essays online through the EngineerGirl website. The contest is divided into categories based on grade levels: elementary (grades 3-5), middle (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12).
Open to students in grades 3-12.
$500 for 1st place, $250 for 2nd, and $100 for 3rd; certificates and recognition
