The Central NM STEM Research Challenge is a regional science and engineering competition open to elementary, middle, and high school students. Participation Information
Students register through their schools, and projects are developed and submitted according to competition guidelines. The competition takes place from March 19-21 & 23, 2025, at EXPO New Mexico.
Open to students in grades 4-12 in Central New Mexico.
Trophies, certificates, and scholarships for outstanding research projects

1. Register through the competition website. 2. Submit necessary forms and paperwork. 3. Develop a research project. 4. Present the project at the event in March.
Access to scientific research materials, mentorship from teachers or advisors, and compliance with competition guidelines.
Judging is based on the scientific method, creativity, research quality, and the presentation of the project.
