About the competition

The FIRST Robotics Competition is a global competition where high school students design, build, and program industrial-size robots to compete in alliance-based games. Students also fundraise, create team brands, and promote STEM in their communities.

Participation Information

Teams register, build robots according to each season’s challenge, and compete in regional, national, and international events. Teams can advance to the World Championship based on performance.
Open to high school students, ages 14-18. Team registration required.
