The Maryland High School Business Plan Competition invites high school students to develop business ideas and compete for cash prizes. It fosters entrepreneurship by rewarding creativity and business planning skills.

Participation Information

Students submit an executive summary for their business idea by April 9. Semi-finalists develop full business plans and compete in finals at the University of Maryland in June.
Open to Maryland high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors
$1,000 for 1st place, $500 for 2nd, $250 for 3rd; certificates and mentoring opportunities
