The K.K. Barnes Student Paper Competition challenges students to write and present technical papers related to agricultural and biological engineering. The competition encourages technical writing and research skills.

Participation Information

Students submit technical papers on engineering topics. Selected finalists present their papers at the ASABE annual meeting, where winners are awarded cash prizes and recognition for their research.

$2,000 for 1st place, $1,500 for 2nd place, $1,000 for 3rd; certificates and recognition
