JSHS is a national STEM research competition that encourages high school students to conduct and present original scientific research. The symposium brings together students, teachers, and STEM professionals.

Participation Information

Students present their original scientific research at regional symposiums. Winners of regional competitions advance to the national symposium for further recognition and scholarship opportunities.
Open to high school students in the U.S.
$12,000 for 1st place, $8,000 for 2nd, $4,000 for 3rd; scholarships and certificates
