Open to any person in any country between 18 and 30 on the closing date for entries
$1,000 for winners; publication opportunities and recognition

Make a maximum three-minute video about your activities to help combat climate change and submit your entry using the Global youth video competition entry form found on the competition website.
The two winners will receive the following prizes:
Round-trip travel to COP23 in Bonn, Germany, November 2017;
Position as a youth reporter for COP23, responsible for assisting the UNFCCC Newsroom team with videos, articles and social media posts.

Winning entries will be judged based on the following criteria:
Content: clearness and effectiveness of the video in documenting a story about climate change, promoting action and/or offering new solutions.
Innovation, originality, and impact: telling a climate story in a fresh and unusual way, appealing to a broad and diverse audience and encouraging further thought and action.
Technical expertise: quality of camera and audio work, effectiveness of editing and strength of script.
​A shortlist of videos selected by a judging panel including representatives from UNDP, UNFCCC and tve will be selected and posted online.
