About the competition

AgAir challenges student teams to conceptualize novel aviation systems for agriculture that can improve efficiency, environmental impact, and climate resilience by 2035. Finalists present their concepts at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center.

Participation Information

Teams of 2-6 students submit a 5-7-page proposal and a 2-minute video outlining their aviation system concepts for agriculture. Finalists receive an $8,000 stipend and travel support to attend the competition forum.
Open to college students in the U.S.
$6,000 for 1st place, $4,000 for 2nd; certificates and recognition
