									High school sophomores and juniors in the United States, Canada, Virgin Islands, and American Schools Abroad. Nominating schools must be US accredited.								
				
									Certificates, publication opportunities, and national recognition

                            Schools nominate students; students submit writing based on a provided theme; judges evaluate submissions.                        
                    
                            Official nomination form, access to the contest prompt, and writing guidelines which can be obtained from NCTE
